First Time Boat Buyer's Guide
Is boat ownership expensive?
The major expense is obviously the boat purchase. Very often though, it is the unknown or hidden costs that put people off buying a boat. These extra costs can be attributed to:
- Mooring fees
- Survey fees
- Registration fees
- Service and Maintenance
- Insurance
- Tuition costs
- Fuel
With On-Water, we have removed some of these costs by including in the price of your boat:
- 1st Year Insurance
- The Boat Survey
- Boat Handling and Tuition or discount off your first year's mooring fees
In regard to the other costs of service and maintenance, mooring fees, registration and fuel, boating need not be as expensive as you might think.
